North GA Cabins

Vacationing in North Georgia Mountains can be very different than many other vacation destinations around the country. Places like the beach, Gatlinburg TN or Las Vegas have a certain amount of attractions that guests love. This is not necessarily the case when vacationing in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia. I am not saying there are no attractions in North Georgia, because there are some things to do. For instance, Blue Ridge GA and Ellijay GA are two cities with rich history that are fun for guests. I am just saying that these small cities, the Blue Ridge Mountains and the North GA Mountains don’t offer near as many attractions as some place like Gatlinburg. Because of this, I am encouraging guests and visitor to be careful when planning and reserving a cabin for their North Georgia vacation.

For me and the guests, I believe that biggest attractions are the North Georgia cabins. With place like Vegas and Gatlinburg, you spend more time out of the cabins than in the cabins. It can be very different with the cabins in North Georgia. With less entertainment, guests will be spending majority of their time in the cabins. Because of this, guests have to be extra cautious when booking or reserving one of the many North Georgia cabins.

One very difficult task is picking between one of the popular cities. They are Blue Ridge, Helen and Ellijay GA. One thing all customers must understand is the difference between each city. They are not interchangeable and are at least 15 minutes apart. Here is one confusing thing about reserving a cabin. There are Blue Ridge cabins, Ellijay cabins and Helen cabins, but they all can fall under the broad title of North Georgia cabins. So, as a guest be sure what where you are reserving and what you are reserving. It is ok to ask questions and, in fact, I encourage it very much.

Because the cabin is probably going to be the biggest attraction on your vacation, there should be a few amenities that you look for when booking. Mine include:

  • Hot Tub (A must for relaxing)

  • Big Screen TV

  • Pool or pool accessibility

  • Large deck with furniture

  • Several game tables including pool table and foosball table

  • Movie library

  • DVD Player

  • Full Kitchen

Taking these recommendations into account when planning for your next North Georgia vacation can help resolve some problems before they start. Remember, when vacating in North Georgia the cabins are attractions…I mean the Blue Ridge Mountains are beautiful as well!
